Firstcourt Ltd was created to offer advice to professional firms and other service sector organisations on how to deliver value to the business through effective use of technology. Working mainly at board level, the company aims to demonstrate that careful selection and implementation of systems can both reduce overheads and increase revenue.
Adam Westbrooke, founder of the company, spent over five years leading the IT Department at the law firm Taylor Wessing. During this period the firm grew rapidly from a mid size City firm into a major European player with 10 offices in four countries.
Prior to that he spent several years helping to create a new national IT infrastructure for the Girls’ Day School Trust, the largest group of independent schools in the UK.
After leaving Cambridge, where he graduated in Electrical and Information Systems, Adam started his career as a systems analyst and programmer working on settlement systems for bond and equity trading, as well as working for clients tracking information for the advertising industry.
Firstcourt also maintains relationships with a large number of technical consultancies and suppliers of systems and software, and works with many of these to create more cost effective solutions for use by Firstcourt’s clients. |
