Audio Visual Design
Not too long ago, having an audio visual system meant you had a large television on a trolley, with a video recorder underneath for advanced users. These days, the minimum requirement is some form of projector or large screen for showing PowerPoint or Keynote presentations on. But in many cases the requirement quickly expands with a requirement to use this display for television, and linked to a video conferencing system. One you have included television, you need to have an amplifier and speakers, but they also need to support microphones for use when running seminars, which in turn need to link to an audio loop for those using hearing aids.
Even for a simple business, requirements can quickly encompass:
• Projector/plasma displays for presentations • Meeting room television display • Video conferencing, portable and built in • Audio conferencing, desktop and built in • Sound systems for TV/video and music • Radio microphones and sound reinforcement • Audio loops for hard of hearing • Reception information and TV news displays
Firstcourt will help you define your requirement and choose appropriate technology for your needs. We will then either find specialist installers if required, or otherwise source equipment directly and instruct existing building and cabling contractors.
We will design and specify for appropriate installers and contractors:
• electrical supplies for planned and future needs • data connections • accessible cable routes built in • TV aerial connection points
For an office fit out or refurbishment, planning and coordination are key. AV installation often impact on every other service, so Firstcourt will provide liaison between:
• Main site contractor • Electricians • AV subcontractor • Data cabling contractor • Aerial fitter • Landlord/Agent for permissions |
